Security Consultant: The Security Consultant will take a leading role in developing the security practice across the Government and Defence market sectors for a reputable consultancy that has overcome the credit crunch and continues to have full order books for 2009 and beyond. Much of the project work will be involved with the definition of security concepts and architectures to support large scale procurement, systems integration and introduction of systems into service.

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Bristol, Swindon, Newport, Gloucester, Bath, Swindon, Newport, Gloucester

Security Consultant Key Responsibilities:

- Internal security competence development
- Security marketing and sales, including proposal writing
- Working on-site with clients, leading, or as an integrated member of a Project team
- Previous consultancy experience, on defence systems such as DII, DFTS, SKYNET, FALCON etc

Safety Engineer Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree qualified
- Extensive experience of general security consultancy
- Methods and Standards ? JSP440, DIAN 07/08, CLAS, HMG Infosec Standards, BS 7799, CRAMM, defence accreditation processes, etc
- Technology Areas ? IP, VoIP, cryptography, PKI, management, SOA, etc.
- Business Development ? proven ability to undertake marketing activities and to develop and secure sales; effective proposal writing skills; good professional and client network of contacts.
- Project Management ? proven ability to manage and control projects at a range of sizes; effective ?man-management? skills; good communications and technical leadership abilities, Security consultancy; or an information security role (eg. technical security specialist / researcher, security accreditor / advisor).
