SYSTEMS ENGINEER - READING AND THAMES VALLEY REGION
Job Purpose
To effectively support Corporate and PC based core business infrastructure, applications and software. Working within a team to enable Accommodation Strategy to consolidate staff and enable flexible working.

The role reports to the appropriate geographical Accommodation Project Manager and is responsible for the physical movement of IT hardware and dependencies, including upgrade of any infrastructure under guidance from the PM. Includes installation/upgrade of Wan/LAN, cabling, isdx and voice and PC/Server hardware and services. This job requires flexibility in working hours to minimise business disruption. The work places a high level of dependence on communication skills to complement the technical abilities required of the individual both during office moves and throughout post move support.

Support the National Accommodation Programme in delivering the appropriate IT Strategy changes.
