Adobe Consulting is growing its European practice, and is looking to expand its team of Technical Architects in Northern Europe.

We're looking for an exceptional individual to help build our consulting capabilities in the UK region. This individual must have an entrepreneurial sprit, be ready to help customers and partners to deliver great digital experiences and software solutions. If you are already comfortable working on leading edge projects and you want to increase focus on delivering solutions that assist your clients embrace change, engage with their customers and improve business performance or enter new markets by new channels we want to talk to you.

We are targeting the FSI, Government, Media & Publishing and Manufacturing sectors which provide a diverse array of business opportunities and challenges.

Skills Required

We're looking for top-notch enterprise software developers, who have worked in all tiers of an n-tier application architecture, who care about best-practices and good software engineering, and who are willing and able to embrace new technologies to deliver solutions. The more of the following boxes you can tick with confidence, the better?

? Enterprise Application Development with J2EE or .NET

? n-tier application development

? Regardless of J2EE or .NET, general experience of the overall platform, with specific experience of the key technologies (eg JDBC, EJB, JMS, ADO.NET, etc)

? Presentation-tier Experience of JSP or ASP.NET

? Experience of rich-client technology advantageous

? Adobe Flex, Flash MX and Flash Remoting

? Java Swing or AWT

? XUL or XAML

? Strong OO Analysis and Design Skills

? Software design patterns

? Pragmatism ? good balance between designing and delivering

? Strong understanding of relational database technology

? Database design and normalisation

? Experience of one or more of MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server 2000, DB2

? Agile Development Experience desirable

? Unit-testing and/or test-driven development with Junit or NUnit

? Refactoring

Experience Required

? Enterprise Software development with J2EE or .NET

? Software Engineers ? 3-5 years experience

? Software Consultants ?5-8 years experience

? Strong Computer Science or Software Engineering Background

? General Interest in Internet related technologies

? Ability to work both individually, and as part of a close-knit development team
