Contract Management and Billing Executive

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a unique business environment.  Our client is the leading supplier of trading systems and market data globally to some of the world?s largest financial institutions.

Our client is looking for an experienced Contracts / Billing Manager with strong team leadership skills, ability to analyse and manage high levels of financial data, manage and maintain over 2000 contracts at any one time whilst ensuring all changes, amendment, and additions are recorded and billed appropriately.  Managing an established team of 6 in the day to day operations of the department.  Conducting appraisals and recruiting new employees when necessary

The successful individual will have a variety of financial and business operations experience, previous experience of developing new process initiatives and reporting requirements. Excellent communication abilities are essential as this role will also be required to liaise closely with the Finance team and Sales Account Managers to provide operational support and to ensure that contracts are processed, billed and collected in a timely and efficient manner.

A key aspect of the role is to help ensure that contracts are accurately represented in SAP for contract value, invoicing and revenue purposes and that contract entry and change processes are followed.   Therefore it is essential to have previous experience of using a Contract Management System ? SAP would be advantageous.

Responsibilities include:

·         Management, development and maintenance of the contract management system (SAP)

·         Manage procedures and implement improvements where required

·         Ensure data entry, billing and reporting deadlines are met

·         Provide analytical support for the business - investigate queries

·         Assist with reporting requirements - order book, revenue and ad hoc reports

·         Assist ongoing systems development, including global roll out

·         Communication and liaison with account sales teams and other manager?s requirements

Must possess the following competencies and attributes:

 

·         Must have Contract Management Experience

·         Experience in a finance or operational environment  - industry flexible

·         Excellent analytical skills

·         Strong communication and time management skills

·         Highly IT literate - knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) or similar contract management system

·         Extremely numerate and experienced with Excel

·         Demonstrate evidence of strong team leadership skills

·         Experience in an IT or information Provider Company would be an advantage, but training will be provided where necessary
