COMPANY - Tier one telecom carrier looking to hire a Customer Support Engineer for their Data team in the Docklands area THE PERSON –5 years experience in a technical operations role for either Telco or a ISP Provide cover, as a technical
single point of contact for all Customer Fault issues. Escalation of all faults / outages as and when required. To provide 1st & 2nd line technical support for all products as required to the clients internal and external customers. To ensure
contractual SLA metrics are met or exceeded at all times. KEY SKILLS: / 2nd t line maintenance for o IN platforms o DSL including BT WOOSHF test o Layer 2 Frame/SDH/ATM/Ethernet o Core routing Network elements , e.g. Cisco, Juniper o VoIP/ SIP
• Good understanding of BGP routing for Private VPN and Public ISP • Through knowledge of MPLS layer 2/3 VPN • TCP/IP an interworking techniques / in an intl IP environment • Server operating environments and web
hosting server • A good working knowledge of DNS, HTTP, Email services • Knowledge of server connection tools e.g. Terminal services • Previous experience in working in a Network Operations Environment • Working
knowledge of ticketing systems e.g. Remedy • IP Trouble shooting commands • Trained to CCNA standard Send CV today for interview this week
