Due to expansion our client is now seeking a highly skilled Analogue Design Engineer with excellent experience of developing PCB level high speed and high power analogue circuits. This is likely to be in the design of audio, video or RF amplifiers. Key
responsibilities and accountabilities are as follows: • Design analogue electronic circuits • Providing guidance on PCB layout • Verification and validation (a hands on role) • Advise on manufacturing test
• Ongoing support & maintenance The successful candidate will have the ability to Design amplifiers to have a maximum bandwidth and keep stable, with open loop bandwidths in the order of 100MHz. In addition you will have experience in some
or all of the following:- • Designing amplifiers up to 100Mhz b/w • Designing high performance amplifiers using discrete components • Class D amplifier design • Modeling / simulating the design with the view of
"proving" the design ahead of prototyping. • Understand stability and compensation techniques • BJT and MOSFET device characteristics and circuit topologies. • Device speed limitations, failure modes and breakdown
mechanisms. • Practical implementation experience of PCB layout to minimise parasitic effects (the devices we use have the potential to oscillate at microwave frequencies) • Using test equipment, ie spectrum and network analysers
• Good hands on bench skills such as soldering • Practical knowledge of measurement techniques, such as how to make accurate measurements of amplifier open loop response. • Good appreciation of potential manufacturing
assembly and test problems To apply for this role please send an up to date Word CV and your salary / package expectations to marie@navigationrecruitment.co.uk For a list of all our vacancies, please visit us at: www.navigationrecruitment.co.uk Analogue
