Job Summary
Videonations is a leading Videoconferencing, VoIP & Audio Visual Integrator.
We are looking to grow our internal support team and have a requirement for a 1st/2nd line support engineer to assist in the diagnosis and resolution of support issues on Videoconference and VoIP technologies.
Although primarily an internal position, you will also be involved in on site installations and support from time to time.
Those with experience in either Video or VoIP should apply as training will be provided. Experienced in both? Great!
Key Responsibilities
- Support of Video conference & VoIP technologies (LifeSize, Radvision, Polycom, Tandberg, Shoretel)
- Provide 1st/2nd line support to resolve customer problems
- Effectively communicate status to customers and internal staff
- Be able to find answers to technical problems through a variety of mediums and work in a logical and methodical fashion
- Documentation of support resolution through the use of support ticket system
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience/Knowledge in either Video conferencing or VoIP technology.
- Experience/ of working in a dynamic environment and producing quality work to demanding timescales.
- Experience in customer support and system administration.
- Understanding of IP network environments.
- Ideally relevant industry qualifications or equivalent knowledge base. (Preferable but not essential )
- Cisco network certified (CCNA) or equivalent IP knowledge (Preferable but not essential)
- InfoComm CTS (Preferable but not essential)
