Test Environment Engineer - £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits.

Opportunity to join well established Glasgow bank experiencing a substantial period of growth and embarking on some exciting IT project work.

You will be joining a new team responsible for the setup and maintenance of non-live test environments used by developers and tester across the business.

Typical duties will include:
Stop/start, Back-up/restore, Data Loads and config management. As well as the technical aspects, you will get involved with Project Planning, cause and effect analysis and project management.

To be successful in this role, you have a technical as a systems administrator of Oracle on Unix or SQL on Wintel with a desire to develop new skills. Skills in Virtualisation such as VW Ware are desirable. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.
