E-Learning Project Manager

A governing education body based in central London is recruiting for an:

 

E-Learning Project Manager

 

Contract ? 3 Months +

 

Rate: £300-£350 per day

 

Ideally from an education or similar

Researching e-learning solutions what?s out there and what?s on the horizon

Defining solution requirements and commissioning work

Project management of delivery to time and on budget

Quality control and assurance of materials and content

Budget management

 

Finding subject experts and commissioning content

Able to guide users through technical authoring software (Articulate) and provide training and support

Source and manage design resource

Quality control content against standards and for educational merit

Plan and implement co-ordinated programme of online seminars, podcasts, and blogs (including organising studio time, agreeing subjects, helping authors achieve quality recording and effective learning, co-ordinating with other teams e.g. CPD and Centre Development)

Organise appropriate due diligence and contractual arrangements with third parties

Liaison with web and comms team to ensure effective take-up of resources by users

Reporting on results

 

Work with colleagues to ensure e-assessment developments are QCF compliant

Understand requirements under QCF

Understand educational requirements of assessments methods

Research what is out there, who is doing what, and what?s working

Work with CBA technology partner (BTL) to ensure effective delivery of CBAs

 

To manage and own the main project plan (platform delivery) with external consultants, software developers

Work with and coordinate external procurement, IT, online learning and project management consultants

 

Knowledge of online tutorial software options

Knowledge of online learning delivery mechanisms (e.g. webinars, blogs, podcasts, vodcasts, flash-based, games, virtual worlds, immersive environments)

Knowledge of accountancy core subjects

Knowledge of educational tools (e.g. skillcheck, diagnostics, formative assessment)

Appreciation of educationally sound approaches
