DII Security Manager

Summary of Position Logica ia seeking a Principal Security Consultant to provide business focus and technical leadership to a large team of security consultants.

The role provides creative thought leadership in risk management, assurance and accreditation to large projects. Wide experience of security, risk assessment and management across a range of system, solutions and industry verticals is important.

A demonstrable ability to prioritise and maintain progress of top priority issues is a key skill.

The position requires current SC clearance due to the nature projects undertaken. As part of the vetting process, candidates will need to have been a resident in the UK for a continuous period of a minimum of 5 years.

Experience & Qualifications

Extensive experience of accreditation in MOD and government

Full understanding of government and MOD security policies

Recent experience of working on large government projects is essential.

A succesful candidate is likely to have worked for a consultancy and have 10-15 years IT experience and a minimum of 5 years + experience of as a lead security consultant with experience of a range of technologies and aspects of security:
1. Production of RMADS
2. System wide security & architecture
3. Risk management & risk assessment
4. Senior level risk balance negotiation
5. Creative solutions to challenging business risks

Candidates must have a flexible approach to work, with excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to manage their own time and budgets while and maintaining customer satisfaction is important for this role

Candidates must possess a valid SC for this role
