FIELD SERVICES ENGINEER

Field Services Engineer to join team of engineers working on professional services technical projects on customer sites. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity, offering exposure to a broad range of skills and varying site requirements.

Description and Duties

This position is based out of Dublin and duties & skills required include:

* Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 administration and set up experience along with Windows XP/Vista/7 is required
* Windows Small Business Server administration and setup
* Configuration of Router and firewalls (Cisco, SonicWall) for DSL, WAN and VPN configuration
* MS Exchange/ISA knowledge is essential
* Content Security Solutions e.g. MailMarshal, WebMarshal.
* SUS/SMS/MOM Server knowledge an advantage
* Backup solutions (Symantec BackupExec & CommVault)
* Virtualization experience an advantage (VMWare & Hyper-V)
* HP, Dell and IBM server, hardware configuration knowledge is required
* Citrix and Terminal Services basics are required
* Experience in installing phone systems (Cisco/3Com) not essential but an advantage
* Implementation and management of SANs not essential but an advantage
* Responsible for the timely delivery of clients professional service technical requirements
* Excellent Communicator
* Customer Service Orientation with excellent problem solving skills
* Strong documentation skills.
* Ability to work in fast moving, dynamic environment


Full clean driving licence

6+ years experience in a similar position.
