The Role

 

·         Reporting to and working closely with the MI & Billing Manager and a team of experienced analysts, the MI Analyst will be responsible for producing and maintaining MI service delivery while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data.

·         Develop and maintain reporting infrastructure that supports service level adherence

·         Develop and maintain tools to ensure the accuracy of data sources is appropriate to the demands of customers.

·         Act as a subject matter expert within the data arena, providing solutions to non-standard requests

·         Provide 1st level feedback to internal and where applicable external clients in a clear, nontechnical way

·         The ability to provide and consume technical information and transform into operational logic

·         Extraction and presentation of reporting packs ensuring continuity and reconciliation with all reports produced by the department.

 

The Candidate

 

·         Experience of extracting data from multiple sources using Business Intelligence tools, especially Business Objects

·         Practical experience of working with relational databases

·         Knowledge and experience of VBA development

·         Experience of development using .NET Framework

·         Advance user of Microsoft Office software packages

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

·         Advanced user of SQL

·         Educated to HND level (or equivalent). Previous working experience with similar educational requirements which can be demonstrated will be acceptable where a formal qualification is not held.

·         Experience of working on data development or in an operational role within a customer services environment would be desirable.
