My client is a leading oil major, their business is the exploration, production, refining, trading and distribution of energy on a truly global scale. This role sits within the market intelligence team that operates within the European oil trading area
of the business, which is responsible for the commercial refining and trading of crude oil and products around the European and Africa. Specifically, this includes optimal crude sourcing, product sales and risk management for the assets in order to
maximise commercial performance. The Market Intelligence team has consistently delivered innovative solutions to the global Oil Trading business over the last three years. They provide state-of-the-art web-based tools & analytics that give the
company a competitive advantage in market intelligence. Their primary focus is the requirements of crude, products and freight traders in the three global region offices of the business unit. The role will be responsible for ensuring the good design and
full adoption of our solutions by co-ordinating design and business change. The role will sit within the front office, and will include exposure traders, market analysts, operators, charterers, shipping and refinery planners. The role therefore demands
excellent interpersonal skills. Key Accountabilities/responsibilities: Business Change Delivery · Implement an appropriate level of business change theory · Ensure delivery of project milestones · Liase with business change team, project manager,
architects, developers and other resource providers Maintain & develop system components · Innovate & design new & improved functionality · Ensure bugs/vessel issues are prioritised and resolved in a timely manner · Monitor performance of
major components of system daily. · Support analytical service Essential criteria & qualifications: · Delivery of business change - Particularly IT projects in the context of a large corporate - Understanding of principles of business change · User
