Profile:

As a Strategic Web Manager you will have experience of creating and executing content strategies. Particularly when it comes to re-launching a site and radically changing the tone, and layout of content. You will possess several years experience of creating and managing editorial strategies and International teams, as well as experience of developing content distribution deals. You will have confidence and be able to work with senior people from other companies and have strong negotiation skills. Ideally you will have previously held a similar position for a travel site and be available immediately for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Role:

The role of the Strategic Web Manager is to focus create and implement content strategies to drive the site forward. It is a purely strategic role concentrating on the re-launch of the site, radically changing the and content so previous experience in this area is a must. You will plan content, improve user experience, contribute to the web strategy to support the overall objective of to create and execute content strategy. As part of the role you will be required to develop content distribution deals and previous experience within the travel sector is a must.
