A rollercoaster ride: Certainly there are plenty of parallels which might explain why tech companies all gravitate towards Las Vegas. Anybody who rode the dot-com rollercoaster in the late nineties and early 21st century would feel at home on the rollercoaster which travels around the New York New York hotel through improbable loops, twists and turns.
