Can the city's infrastructure keep pace with Bangalore's success?

But the growth has come at a price. The once sleepy retirement city of Bangalore is now literally bursting at the seams with congestion. One taxi driver, when asked what time this morning rush hour ends, said "10pm". Bangalore isn't a huge city but the traffic situation means it usually takes at least 45 minutes to drive anywhere, although the unpredictable nature of the roads means journeys can often take much longer.
