In brief: IBM goes online in Asia

NEWS IBM is to create a secure framework for online banking for financial institutions in Asia. The computer giant claimed the alliance has been set up to ensure standards and services are compatible with those of a US consortium, Integrion Financial Networks. Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand are among the first of the Asian countries to be targeted.
