Unions to get more say in PFI process

NEWS Unions are to be given more say in Private Finance Initiative (PFI) awards, the UK government disclosed today. In an effort to restore confidence in the much maligned system, employees will now have access to bidders' employment track records. Unions will be allowed to put forward comments about bidders during the decision making process. However, they will not be given any decision making powers.
