Fujitsu cuts out the middle man

NEWS Fujitsu is to cut distributors out of its PC channel strategy, opting instead to expand its online and direct sales, according to US wires. The company's LifeBook notebook computers have been available from distributors such as Ingram Micro, but will now be sold directly to resellers and end users. The company is also cutting back the total number of VARs selling Fujitsu kit.
