NEWS Dell Computer and Acer Group have agreed a which will see the Taiwanese PC manufacturer produce around 1.3 million low-end computers for the direct PC vendor at a cost of $929m. The move follows Dell's $8bn agreement to buy hard drives, chips, networking and display technology from IBM for use in their servers, desktops and laptops.
