NEWS Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has strengthened its position in the healthcare market with the acquisition this week of IT services firm, Nicols Research. The $391m deal will also enhance the IT giant's position in government, military and commercial markets. Alabama-based Nicols employs around 300 staff and currently boasts annual sales of £455m. Nicols healthcare customers include US insurance specialist PacifiCare Health Systems.
