NEWS West Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust has hailed the success of the initial roll-out of a Patient Administration System, made possible by a partnering with Integrated Medical Solutions (IMS). The upgraded system is based on IMS' Direct Booking product, and integrates with legacy technology and an intranet. IMS supplies software to various healthcare organisations. John Sidman, the Trust's IT director, said the technology has already reduced waiting times and cut down on the number of what are known as DNAs - Did Not Attends.
