Mitel wins South Wales NHS contract

NEWS Mitel has won a contract to supply Bro Morgannwg NHS Trust with a voice and data system that will consolidate existing information systems and make them millennium compliant. The project will include the installation of Mitel's Kontact software, integrating PBX and ISDN technology in 15 community clinics in South Wales. It is expected to make the clinics Y2K complaint and could help save the Trust £50,000 in cost reductions. Kontact will operate as the core of the Trust's communications network over which clinical information will be transferred quickly and efficiently.
