NEWS Online health content company, Health-Media.Net, has won a contract with the NHS to develop Web-based distance-learning software to facilitate the training of 40,000 clinicians across the UK. The project is being run in association with the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, the conference of Postgraduate Medical Deans of the UK and the National Association of Clinical Tutors. The company's experience in online training and content will be important in ensuring the Internet training project will be accompanied by appropriate guidance and support services.
