NEWS US content company Healthnotes is to form a partnership with NCR to provide consumers with health and nutrition information via Web kiosks in supermarkets and chemists. The scheme is in response to a report by the US Food Marketing Institute that reflected a growth in consumer demand for nutrition information when shopping for groceries. NCR's Web kiosks are also deployed in wine retailers and film processing centres where they offer content appropriate to those markets.
