NEWS The Bank of Scotland (BoS) has confirmed it is in talks with EasyEverything boss Stelios Haji-Ioannou to back a new Internet banking service called EasyMoney.com. BoS would provide the capital and the banking licence for the venture. If negotiations are successful, both parties say they hope to launch the service by the end of the year. Haji-Ioannou claims EasyMoney.com would undercut existing high-street banks, which he said were overcharging customers.
