Freeserve launches online mortgages with B&B

By Ian Jones, 11 July 2000 09:06

NEWS Freeserve is to start selling mortgages online as part of an exclusive agreement with the UK's second largest building society, Bradford and Bingley. The two firms will jointly run an online property channel as part of the Freeserve portal. The channel will aggregate properties for sale as well as offer mortgages through Charcolonline - an internet broker and subsidiary of Bradford and Bingley. The companies claim the site will offer impartial advice on mortgages from 43 different lenders. For related news, see
