NEWS A judge has called for more technical evidence to be put forward before deciding if Yahoo! should be forced to block French users from sites that violate national anti-hatred laws. In May a French court ordered Yahoo! to make it impossible for French users to access website auction pages that sell Nazi memorabilia. Yahoo!'s French site is already prohibited from offering these products, but surfers in France can access Yahoo!'s international site. Yahoo! has argued that while they can block access to French users, the technology involved is simple and can be easily by-passed. Judge Jean-Jacques Gomez ordered three experts to study the technical evidence and delayed the hearing until 6 November.
