NEWS IBM punch-card machines were used by the Nazis in the war to catalogue victims of the genocide, according to findings in a book soon to be released by researcher Edwin Black. The book, entitled IBM and the Holocaust, documents IBM Germany's use of its staff and equipment in assisting the Third Reich, according to publisher Little, Brown and Co. Five survivors of Hitler's concentration camps claim that not only did the monolith deny access of archival evidence to historians, it also profited from sales of its products. The victims will be represented by New York based law firm Cohen Milstein Hausfeld and Toll, led by attorney Michael Hausfeld, fresh from the success of a $1.25bn settlement from Swiss Banks regarding Holocaust victims.
