Online paedophilia sees seven Britons jailed

Seven British men were today given jail sentences of up to two and a half years after pleading guilty to participating in a worldwide internet porn ring.

NEWS The 'Wonderland Club' had at least 180 members in 12 countries distributing pornographic pictures of children to each other over the internet. Police say the operation had been running for four years. When the ring was broken in 1998, police discovered 750,000 pictures and 1,800 computer videos containing graphic images of paedophilia. Three other Britons have been implicated in the ring, and police say they are investigating at least 75 others who have associations with Wonderland Club members.
