The site is co-hosted by PSINet, on 'reliable and seamless' x-series Intel-based servers. Although an IBM spokesman initially said the site went down due to 'routine testing', Dheraz Dar, marketing director of surpriseyourwomen.com, said: "The site went down due to the increase in traffic." The start-up sends emails to male users to remind them of important dates during the year. It also offers lifestyle advice to men to help them keep their partners happy.
