Bush pledges money to US e-government

George W Bush has announced large funding for government anti-hacking organisations.

NEWS Bush pledged the first $10m installment in 2002, of a $100m kitty dedicated to support America's e-gov.com site, which is a focus for government services online. The Federal Computer Incident Response Capability (FedCIRC), a division of the Government Services Administration (GSA), which safeguards government agencies against cyber attacks, will also see its funding increased by 38 per cent.
