NEWS Networking giant Cisco has recently allowed employees to wear shorts to work as it attempts to save money on air-conditioning and energy-saving costs. CEO John Chambers announced the news at a recent company meeting, according to VARBusiness. Wearing a pair of Bermuda shorts he announced that thermostats at the company's sun-drenched Silicon Valley offices will be fixed at 78 degrees. At time of publication it could not be determined whether exposing Cisco employees to the sight of Chambers' knees was a underhand attempt to detract attention from the news.
