NEWS Citibank's network of ATM machines and its website were all laid low by a software bug for the second time in two days yesterday. At 17:00(BST) on Tuesday the network went down for about four hours. Service was restored but failed again Wednesday morning. Citibank pledged to refund customers who were charged transaction costs by rival banks as a result of the outage.
