BSkyB and Ladbrokes go their separate ways...

NEWS BSkyB and Ladbrokes have scrapped plans for an interactive gambling joint venture. The service would have provided sports betting over the internet and telephone as well as via Sky's digital TV platform. However, rival bookmakers raised concerns that all odds offered by Sky would be exclusively provided by Ladbrokes and the case was referred to the competition commission.
