NEWS Ealing Council has joined forces with the UK government's e-envoy to take part in a pilot scheme to link up local government intranets. Working under the title 'Knowledge Network' the scheme enables the council to access information from about local and central government. Ealing Council has revamped its internal business system, relaunched their intranet and given their website a face lift in preparation for the project. Experiences learnt from the pilot will form part of the Oe-E Knowledge Management Policy Framework document.
