NEWS UK disaster recovery specialist Synstar has signed an £18m deal with outsourcing firm ITNet to provide its services to ITNet customers. The four-year deal, worth £4.5m per annum, is a continuation of a previous five-year deal between the two firms. Synstar provides the back-up, business continuity and disaster recovery facilities for ITNet customers using its business recovery datacentres. Business continuity firms have received a higher profile since the terrorist attacks last year, since when Synstar's share price has risen by 65 per cent.
