NEWS Nordea, the pan-Scandinavian bank, has appointed a new IT boss. Norwegian Jarle Haug will be in charge of its IT strategy and systems across Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Haug has worked as a technology chief in the banking world for over a decade. Before joining Nordea, he worked the Norwegian K-Bank where he was in charge of the bank's IT department. The post will be a challenging one for Haug as Nordea has one of the world's most advanced electronic banking systems and is developing mobile banking systems across the four countries.
