NEWS Norwich city council has become one of the first local governments to sign a Private Finance Initiative contract to provide for its 2005 e-government targets. The £85m contract with Integris will span over 15 years, with £16.8m in funding coming from the private sector. The city council will provide £40m while the remainder will come from savings made through increased IT efficiency over the next 15 years.
