French President makes Cap Gemini man an offer he can't refuse...

NEWS The chief financial officer of French consultancy firm Cap Gemini Ernst & Young has followed his CEO out of the company but in the case of Frederic Lemoine it was the lure of politics - not retirement - that made him jump ship. Lemoine has been offered a cabinet position - that of deputy general secretary for economic affairs - in Jacques Chirac's new government. He will be replaced by William Bitan, former operations director at rival Sema. Late last year, Geoff Unwin announced his retirement as Cap Gemini's CEO.
