Travelodge picks ITNet for SAP and payroll

A million pounds a year but "competitive"

By Tony Hallett, 23 July 2004 14:40

NEWS Travelodge has chosen ITNet to help with its mySAP Business Suite rollout and handle its payroll function as an outsourcer. The deal is worth £3.16m over three years and kicked in earlier this year.

SAP modules are being implemented in less than half their normal time, according to ITNet and Travelodge. For example, mySAP Financial took five months rather than 11.

Travelodge said it is turning to this type of enterprise software and an IT services partner to improve efficiency and ultimately give better customer service.

The budget hotels group described the tender process as "competitive". It marks another good win for ITNet after trouble with possible future strike action at Swansea Council and a terminated contract with the UK Cabinet Office.

Goods news for SAP, GREAT news for ITNet. After all the 'bad press' ITNet have proved and delivered, that it just goes to show you 'don't believe all that you read'. Well done ITNet.
