Morrow gets a plane ticket

NEWS The UK arm of mobile giant Vodafone has reshuffled its top management, with a new UK head taking over.

Current UK CEO Bill Morrow is moving to head up Vodafone's operations in Japan. Vodafone's Japanese president, Shiro Tsuda, will move to become executive chairman and chairman of the board.

Tim Miles, the mobile operator's managing director in New Zealand, will take up the role of chief executive of Vodafone UK from 1 April.

Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin said that Miles had led one of the most successful operations across Vodafone's business units.
