UK airline Virgin Atlantic has signed a two-year managed services deal worth £560k with Affiniti for the management of its voice and data communications.
The deal covers 2,500 PCs and workstations across Virgin's 11 UK offices, including those sited at major airports such as Gatwick and Heathrow and regional airports such as Manchester.
Kim Pharro, infrastructure services manager of Virgin Atlantic, said the deal is critical in ensuring any potential problems with the communications network are identified and mitigated before they impact operations.
The deal builds on an existing relationship between Affiniti and Virgin Atlantic which saw the Hemel Hempstead based company supporting the airline's PBX phone systems.
