A photo guide to London's wi-fi pubs

A useful resource if ever we saw one...

Founders Arms Bar/Restaurant - 52 Hopton Street, SE1

Forget the fact this Young's pub looks, from some angles, like it should either be the clinic, or the toilet block on a 1970s university campus, it is set in a stunning location with views across the Thames to St Paul's and east past the Millennium Bridge to Tower Bridge. Behind you is the magnificent Tate Modern building. (map)

If anything, the excellent quality of The Cloud's wi-fi connection is a shame. Who can work when there are such views to be had?

The pub is halfway between Blackfriars Bridge and Southwark Bridge on a very popular stretch of the South Bank and some of those milling around might put you in mind of getting a lock for your laptop, which is of course sound advice anywhere in London.

An OK pub, made great by its location.

We are looking to grow this list into a more comprehensive resource and we welcome your feedback. If you know of a great pub with a good wi-fi connection, drop us an email at editorial@silicon.com.

It would be useful to have a list as well as pictures, can't easilly carry around a set of reprinted photos.

Yes, and a map would be useful too... different icons for free and pay nodes...
