PCs come installed with Windows 2000 and these students are using Microsoft Word to prepare essays and documents. One of the 2,000 teachers trained by CFSK assists the children in their work.

    BUT what happens when they finaly die?

    Where are the recycling facilities, where does the energy come from to power the kit? what network do they connect to?

    (Ed note. We suggest you read the articles again for information on how these PCs are networked, how they are recycled at the eventual end of life and how Computers For Schools Kenya inspects the power supply at each school before installing PCs at the school.)
