Top execs from companies including the AA, Tesco and Unilever will be battling it out for the title of CIO of the Year at the fifth annual CNET Networks UK Business Technology Awards.
The finalists for the CIO of the Year award include the tech chiefs from the AA, Oxfam, Reuters, Tesco and Unilever.
Also up for grabs are the Financial Services and Public Sector Technology Project of the Year awards.
Those in the running for the Public Sector award include Birmingham City Council, the Humberside Police and Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust.
The Financial Services shortlisters include Credit Suisse and social lending group Zopa.
The awards also include two new categories this year: Green IT Initiative of the Year and IT Services Project of the Year.
Companies shortlisted for the green award include IBM for its Project Big Green and Fosters EMEA are among those shortlisted for the IT Services Project.
