Lighthouse Group has more than 600 advisors and runs five operational centres throughout the UK to support its IFAs. It is currently in the process of integrating its network of advisors, providing them with the back office systems that will connect them with Lighthouse's product providers.
According Lighthouse CEO Malcolm Streatfield, Last's experience in developing IT related businesses and background in mergers and acquisitions will prove useful in driving this project forward.
He said: "In financial services, speed of delivery in IT is prevalent. Richard's experience will help us in stress testing our IT from a position of knowledge."
