While the rest of the country was away with their buckets and spades, the team here at Silicon Towers was hard at work - and the result is I'm pleased to say another big project is ready to see the light of day.
Last time around I gave you the lowdown on the silicon.com CIO Series and now I want to tell you about our new video player and video page.
You've probably noticed that we've been out and about a lot more with our camera crews this year and the result is we've built up a huge amount of exclusive video - interviews with CIOs, the 60-Second Pitch and our ongoing trip down memory lane with our History of Computing series to mention just three.

To showcase this content, we have been working across the summer on a new video home page (which you can find here) for all our latest business and technology videos in a new larger screen format.
Once you've watched one video, you'll now be offered the chance to play it again or delve into some more of our great video content. You can also browse all the different shows we have, or browse by latest, most popular or editor's pick.
There's also a new video story page (you can see an example here) that we've introduced which will help you find your favourite types of video content more easily than before.
We're not just doing video because we can - when you watch a silicon.com video you can be sure we've made it because being able to see and hear what is going on is integral to the story.
