This month silicon.com had a look at some of the most important technology sites from around the world.
This is the Parkes Observatory - a 64-metre radio telescope in Australia that transmitted some of the first images of the Apollo 11 moon landing to the world and was made famous by the Sam Neill movie The Dish.
