The official launch of Byte Night London 2009, the annual IT industry sleep-out in aid of the charity Action for Children, took place recently.

More than 100 technology professionals attended the event to discover how the IT industry can help the charity raise money and work with more young people in need.

silicon.com spoke to Action for Children's strategic director for England North, Paul Moore, to find out more about the charity and the part Byte Night plays in helping vulnerable children.
